The Sunbury District, just 30km north of Melbourne’s CBD, is a mixed urban and rural electorate that spans from Sunbury right through to Gladstone Park. We are accustomed to seeing traditional housing suburbs as well as unique farmland.
With a wide variety of suburbs within the electorate it makes a diverse community with Sunbury, Diggers Rest, Bulla, Gowenbrae, Gladstone Park, Tullamarine, Wildwood, and Melbourne Airport as well as parts of Westmeadows, Mickleham, Kelior and Clarkfield being included within the electorate boundaries.
Home to some wonderful historical sites including Victoria’s oldest homestead in Emu Bottom, Sunbury Asylum on Jacksons Hill, as well as being the birthplace of the Ashes. We are also grateful to have access to amazing parklands, wineries and community festivals which bring the community together.
